Can’t Figure Out How To Reduce Debt?

Sometimes the biggest thing we need to do in order to reduce or eliminate our debt is to get a handle on it. Many people make minimum payments on credit card balances, and are really frustrated because that balance just seems to inch down, or it does not go down at all.

I would urge anybody, in these tight money times, to try to reduce credit card debt. Credit card companies are raising interest rates and fees, and it just is not a good time to owe a lot of money to them!

Got a Credit Card Balance That Never Goes Down?

Well, lots of us have been here. We use a credit card to pay for something large, or maybe we do it a couple of times. It could be airline tickets we have to buy for an out of town wedding or funeral, or a large car repair, and so the use of the credit card is pretty justified. Or maybe we just had to have a new sofa because the grape kool-aid stain just would not wash out. Whatever it was, the minimum balance gets paid on time every month, and maybe another few dollars is added to that to attack the debt.
